A Brazilian Marine Biologist, explorer and expert guide.
My adventure started when I was 8 years old with a school project that made me fall in love with whales. Since then, I've always dreamed about working with them, even though I was living miles away from the ocean. Following my dreams, I moved to study Marine Biology at Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. After years of hard work and research, I met my first whale and it was an unbelievable feeling. I understood that I wanted to do this for my lifetime.

My work has involved co-founding a marine institute and collaborating with several platforms, including Happywhale and Seafari app, which seek to connect citizens and scientists together in order to broaden and share knowledge about the migratory behavior of humpbacks and other cetaceans. My contributions to science include the first confirmed observation of the same humpback on both coasts of South America and recording the first Dwarf Minke Whale Calf in Brazilian waters.
Throughout my journey, I've visited 32 countries and identified more than 600 humpback whales. I went from Brazil’s countryside to live my dream in places like Tonga, Australia, and Antarctica.
My work has involved ecotourism, activism, co-founding a marine institute, and collaborating with several platforms, focusing on connecting citizens and scientists together in order to bring awareness and knowledge about cetaceans’ migratory behavior and life.
